Process Redesign & LEAN
Our IMPACTsm methodology (CSI’s version of Lean) provides feasible solutions that are innovative, implementable and have buy-in and support from staff, and deliver measurable improvements that can be translated into action in a highly collaborative and rapid fashion. IMPACT is derived from the need to clearly identify opportunities for IMProvement and develop clear ACTion strategies to move forward.
Our approach creates a new vision for the process by leveraging the collective input from a design team to transform core work processes by leveraging information and technology more effectively and creating accountability structures that enable success. Our methodology leverages a series of tools including the use of rapid improvement events, value stream mapping, activity smoothing (heijunka), and fail-safing work processes (pokayoke). However, we believe the greatest strength of our IMPACT methodology is our ability to bring a collective group of stakeholders together to collectively define solutions that lead to a productive, high quality tomorrow. We understand that our role is to facilitate the process, but also to push the group to think “big”. |
CSI has successfully deployed its IMPACT methodology in multiple settings to redesign core work processes that better meet future needs and support system sustainability
